Biography
Lisa L. Moore, Phd, LICSW is a Senior Lecturer and Director of the A.M. Program in Social Work, Social Policy, and Social Administration at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. She has extensive teaching, administrative experience, and clinical practice experience. She has worked in higher education for over 25 years, sustaining until recently a small private psychotherapy practice. Her teaching bridges clinical social work practice and psychoanalytic theory and race. Her recent papers and presentations have focused on addressing the work of Fanon’s ideas of phobogenesis to understanding the construction of fear of Black bodies.
