Biography
Mina Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Data Science Institute at the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on writing with AI, particularly how AI is changing our writing process, the content we produce, and our identities as writers. Named one of MIT Technology Review's Korean Innovators under 35 in 2022, she has been published in generalist journals (e.g., Nature Human Behavior) as well as top-tier conferences in HCI (e.g., CHI and DIS), NLP (e.g., ACL and NAACL), and machine learning (e.g., NeurIPS). Her research on human-AI collaborative writing received an Honorable Mention Award at CHI 2022 and was featured in various media outlets, including The Economist.
