Biography

Zoe Boudart (she/her) is an MD-PhD Anthropology student in the University of Michigan's Medical Scientist Training Program. Her research interests include science and technology studies, intimacy and imaginaries, the phenomenology of expertise, and sensory ethnography. Her dissertation project lies at the intersection of obstetrics and pediatrics, and examines the coordination of diagnostics and care in the realm of fetal substance exposure in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She has previously worked extensively on theorizing as well as enacting multidisciplinary research collaborations.
